I have had different people have asked me recently about my boys.  The questions I get asked most are about Graham playing football for the Trojans and if Caleb will be the valedictorian this year.  As a father, I am glad to talk about these things and of course it makes me proud.

I am proud of all of my children and what they are achieving but I am most proud when they make choices that reflect Jesus.  When they make choices to take a stand for Christ and to make a difference in this world it makes me excited that they are realizing what is most important.

When is God most proud of us?  The Bible indicates that it is when we remember what is most important and we live our lives accordingly.  Colossians 3:2 tells us to “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”  I want to encourage you to make your Heavenly Father proud today and set your mind on what matters.
