Sunday School
First
Baptist Church offers classes for children of all ages and for their
parents. Teachers
dedicated to our Lord and to your child’s spiritual growth give their time
to make Sunday School a special place at First Baptist Church. Sunday
School meets at 9:45 AM on
Sunday Mornings.
First Baptist Church School
The First
Baptist Church School was established in 1969 and is a member of the Texas
Association of Baptist Schools. The children are accepted on a first
come basis, regardless of race or national origin. Transfer students from
other schools are accepted. The school strives to help each child to
reach his or her maximum potential through language, art, music, poetry,
drama, phonics, spelling, reading, mathematics, social studies, science,
health and safety, handwriting, communication, study trips, outdoor
play, motor perception training and leadership training. The children
are taught Christian principles through Bible stories, scripture memory, and
the weekly chapel service. It is our desire that all of the above be
taught in an atmosphere of love.

Summer Camps
Girl‘s G.A.
Camp and boy‘s R.A. Camp are always a hit with kids. Many lives have been
changed because of summer camp at Zephyr Encampment.
Baby Dedication Day
Once a year,
around Mother’s Day, our church sets aside a day to give parents an
opportunity to dedicate their children and families to the Lord. The church
also takes part in the dedication ceremony, as we pledge our support to you
and your family.
