Welcome to First Baptist Church! 

We believe that music plays a vital role in the worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Therefore, we go to great lengths to make training available in many areas.  Those who participate in our Music Program not only learn to praise the Lord through music, but they are given vital tools that will last throughout their lives.  Whether you play, sing, have a desire to learn something new, or just enjoy listening, there is a place for you.

(Children In Action!)

Wednesdays from 6:15 until 7:25 P.M.

Kids will love our Music and Missions organization for Kids age 4 through grade 6.  The children learn about missions and how to be better followers of Christ.  They earn badges for things such as scripture memory, missions projects,  music participation, and learning the books of the Bible…all in a fun filled atmosphere.  This group sings in church 1-3 times a year.

 

  

Vocal Music for Adults

 

Adult Choir

Wednesdays at 7:30 P.M.

This choir is responsible for singing in the Sunday morning worship services and sometimes on Sunday evenings.  At least once per year this choir works on a  special presentation.  This choir meets at 7:30 on Wednesday evenings.  The music is great, but the Fellowship is second to none!

 

Instrumental Music

 

 

FBI

(First Baptist Instrumentalists)

Sundays at 9:00 am. 

The First Baptist Instrumentalists have been providing instrumental music for worship services and special events for the past three years.  FBI  is composed of teenagers and adults who are more experienced than one or two years.  When there is enough interest, FBI may be divided into two groups–FBI 2 is a newly formed group that gives Jr. High Students and other beginning instrumentalists an opportunity to play.   FBI 1 is for more experienced players

Celebration of Praise

Approximately one Sunday night per quarter is devoted to a time of praise when anyone may sing, play an instrument, or read a scripture, or give a word of testimony.  This is always an enjoyable time of informal fellowship and praise.
