Bob Granger joined the staff of First Baptist Church as Minister of Music and Senior Adults in July 2009.   He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Howard Payne University in Brownwood Texas and post-graduate  studies in Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.  Bob and his wife, Barbara, have been married for 35 years.  They have two children, Kristen and Preston.  Preston and his wife, Amy, live in Waco, Texas with their two children, Jonathan and Kaitlin.  Kristen is living at home.  Bob has served in several churches across Texas before coming to Beeville.  Most recently, he served in Maryland.  Barbara works for Coastal Plains Community MHMR as a Family Partner.  Bob's favorite verse is Romans 12:1.

Mike Bryant - Youth Minister

Mike came to Beeville in 2008 after serving in Odessa, TX, Brownwood, TX and in Georgia.  Mike is married to Cymbre and they have one son, Ranston, and one daughter, Kenner.  Cymbre helps in many ways with the youth ministry.  Mike received his Bachelor's degree from Howard Payne University through the School of Christian Studies in Corpus Christi.  He is currently working on his Master's degree.  Mike has a desire to see youth be grounded in their faith.  More information about the youth ministry can be found at http://web.me.com/mikeandcymbre/Grounded/Welcome.html

Tamara Armstrong - Children's Minister

Tamara has worked in the part-time position of directing our children's ministry since the summer of 2008.  This includes our Caraway Street Children's Church program, Bible Drill, Sunday night children's studies, and our Wednesday night TeamKID program.  In the summer she directs our Summer Fun Days weekly program as well as takes kids to pre-teen camp and directs VBS. She also teaches music in the First Baptist Church School. Tamara and John have been married for 21 years. They have one daughter, Cassidy, who is a recent graduate of Texas A&M and lives and works in College Station. Tamara's husband John also serves as a deacon in the church.
