Youth Ministry

Today, students are faced with an “extreme” world where they are challenged to live life on the edge.  The youth ministry at First Baptist Church Beeville encourages students to live their Christian life to the fullest and experience the abundant life...That is truly life to the extreme!

Sunday School

Don’t let the name fool you...there is nothing boring about this time!

Meeting at 9:45 on Sunday mornings, students worship together, pray

together, and study what God has to say about how they live their lives.  With leaders that truly care about their needs, students divide into small groups by grade and study and discuss what the Bible says about important issues that effect their everyday lives.

Upcoming Youth Events:

Feb. 20-21  Student Life Conference.  Theme is: Live Love.

Cost is $59 per student by Feb. 1.  Arrangements have been made to stay at Metropolitan Baptist Church, Houston, to save money.   There are 30 spots to fill, so get your name and money in early.

Mark Jan 11 at 5:30 pm to see the film "Fireproof" being shown in the Sanctuary for everyone.  It is well worth your time.

Youth Wednesday Night Live

On Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. the

students are offered a very informal time of worship, fun and games and relevant discussions.  Those who are involved in late school activities are encouraged to bring their supper and join in the fun.

Music

Opportunities are offered for students to participate in Musical activities which include the F.B.I...

that’s First Baptist Instrumentalists, and Youth Choir.

The F.B.I. is made up of adult and youth instrumentalists who have at least 2 years experience.  The group meets on Sundays at 9 am., and averages playing every two weeks in church services.

Camps

Every summer, our students attend at least one camp.  Places such as Zephyr Baptist Encampment, M Fuge, and Super Summer have built memories that will last for a lifetime through activities from house painting to wall climbing.

Just Plain Fun

 SHINE

Sunday Night After Church is a time of hanging out at the gym.  Every Sunday night, students are invited to come and eat, play games and volleyball, and just hang out together.

 Trips

During the Summer (and whenever the opportunity arises) students are given the opportunity to go bowling, putt putting, to see a movie, go out to eat, or just to go to the mall.
